Presentation

Plage du Porteau is a long sandy beach bordered by the Douaniers pathway and the fisheries, traditional wooden huts of the Côte de Jade.
The orange colour of the sand is very characteristic of the beaches of Sainte-Marie-sur-Mer, whose rock is rich in iron oxyde.
