Indeed, the village of Rouans was used as the setting for the film "Le Grand Chemin" directed by Jean-Loup Hubert and released in 1987.

Go for a magnificent walk through the hinterland of the country of Retz. We follow the country lanes to discover the slopes, the hamlet of Brounière, the small wooden bridges, the Blanche river. Then Buzon, an old port which evokes the memory of the monks of Buzay; finally Saint-Martin-de-Vertou and the Bec mill. Discover a hilly landscape with a very diverse flora and fauna: undergrowth, pastures, crops, marshes...
